Our introductory classes are offered in a variety of styles to help build on the foundations of dance. These 30-minute classes are offered in the styles of hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, and poms. All students in the Creative Kids program will perform one dance both our holiday showcase and year end recital.

Ballet is the root of all styles of dance. Proper technique, positioning & framing begins in ballet. Students will learn positioning of the feet, arms, and body through barre and across-the-floor combinations. Basic leaps, jumps and turns begin in intro level classes and become more advanced as the dancer progresses. Students will also work on musicality, posture, and flexibility.
Pre-Pointe is taken by ballet dancers aspiring to dance en pointe. Pre-Pointe helps dancers expand on ballet knowledge while focusing on technique, strengthening, and flexibility. This class is taken with soft ballet shoes in order to strengthen the ankles and feet for pointe shoes.
